Our Responsibility - Our Code of Conduct

Being a Socially Responsible Enterprise for us at VACUFLEX GmbH means, we consider our business operations and business interests in relation to our role and impact on society in general, and more specifically in relation to our stakeholders. This guides us towards taking decisions which, we believe, render a positive contribution to solving relevant social issues. VACUFLEX expects its business partners to adhere to those same ethical standards. In all its business operations, VACUFLEX is unconditionally committed to conforming to prevailing regulatory frameworks.

UN Global Compact

We support and fully respect the principles of UN Global Compact in regard of human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption. With this communication, we express our intent to advance those principles within our sphere of influence. We are committed to these principles as part of our strategy, our culture and our day-to-day operations.

What do we expect from all of our Global Business Partners?

We ask our partners to embrace, support and enact, within their sphere of influence, a set of core values in the areas of human rights, labour standards, the environment and anti-corruption:

Human Rights

  • Businesses should support and respect the protection of internationally proclaimed human rights; and
  • make sure that they are not complicit in human rights abuses.

Labour

  • Businesses should uphold the freedom of association and the effective recognition of the right to collective bargaining;
  • fight against all forms of forced and compulsory labour;
  • fight for the abolition of child labour; and
  • ensure a workplace free of discrimination in respect of employment and occupation.

Environment

  • Businesses should support a precautionary approach to environmental challenges;
  • undertake initiatives to promote greater environmental responsibility; and
  • encourage the development and diffusion of environmentally friendly technologies.

Anti-Corruption

  • Businesses should work against corruption in all its forms, including extortion and bribery.
